MPS New Release Day!

Happy New Year and Happy Release Day! I have two new and too adorable Rubber Stamp sets just released from Sparkle N Sprinkle, they are "DRESS UP" and "CINDERELLA SLIPPER" and are available and are ON SALE NOW!

I am sure you are all looking forward to a fresh and new start to the year, kind of like a "do-over":) I wanted to let you all know that this will be the last post on this blog for a while. As most of you know I've been teaching my art class on Fridays to the kids and I've also been doing quite a bit of freelance work over the last 6 months as well and would really like to pursue both of these avenues a bit more this coming year so I've decided to focus on more colorwork and building up my portfolio and my teaching skills.

I will still be creating stamp sets for Sparkle N Sprinkle and will be posting my new images on my Etsy shop as digital stamps. Unfortunately, I wont be posting my weekly freebies anymore, I cant seem to keep up with my posts here with all that's going on with my art and petsitting businesses.

Please visit my ETSY SHOP for new images and my other blog, ENCHANTED INSPIRATIONS for updated and news with Michelle Perket Studio and of course my Facebook page which can be reached by clicking on the icon on the left side of this page.

I thank you all for taking the time to leave your lovely comments each week and for all your support thru the years for my art and images. You guys will always have a special place in my heart. I look forward to hearing from you over at my other blog and on Facebook this year!

Love and Hugs,

Michelle

Happy Freebie Day! I hope your Mother's Day was wonderful and you got to spend some quality family time with your Mom's on Sunday.

I think after Mother's Day I am still a bit in "sentimental" mode so I made a bordered inspirational quote about friendship with one of my all time favorite quotes by Marcel Proust.

I've been blessed to have so many beautiful friends that truly do make my "soul blossom" so this one really touches my heart, I hope it touches yours too:)

For all your digital stamping needs, please visit my Etsy shop, and now INSTANT Downloading of all images after your purchase!

MPS TUESDAY FREEBIE - FOR BOSTON

Happy Freebie Day everyone, I so wanted to do something for the city so near and dear to my heart this week. I grew up just north of Boston and Patriot's Day is such a special family day and a day of celebrating the history of Patriotism in Massachusetts and New England. Everyone watches the marathon and the Sox that day. I have so many great memories growing up there.

The Marathon bombing last week was horrific on so many levels and I really wanted to do something, I know its not much but I thought it would be great for all of you to make something with this image and post it on your blogs and facebook pages to let Boston know we are thinking of them.

The leaves signify the laurel wreath that the winners of the marathon recieve when they finish the race and the heart shape is of course to show our love and support. There are so many beautiful stories of hope and healing already but for the families that lost their loved ones it will be a very long road for them to heal. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected.

I searched for an address to send cards to those affected by the bombings but I couldnt find one, if anyone knows of one please let me know!

For those of you who would like to donate here is a link to the One Fund Boston, the mayor set up to help the victims and their families. Here is the link

https://onefundboston.org/pdf/theonefundboston.pdf

and of course the Red Cross is a great place to donate, too, not only for Boston but for the people in Texas in and near the fertilizer plant explosion.
