Happy Thursday!
Aren't Thursday's great.
Just one more day until Friday and it is Guest DT Day at MPS!
This week's Guest DT is BreAnn McFarland.
BreAnn created this gorgeous blue and brown card with Butterfly Fairy and you can find her in Michelle's Etsy store.
This is the inside with a beautiful Proverb.
And here is a little bit about BreAnn....
I'm 31, and I live in Georgia, USA. I love trying new projects and techniques, but I stick with papercrafting and beading most of the time. I was diagnosed with a fatal lung disease when I was 14, and I had to have a double-lung transplant when I was 23. I started college after I had transplant, but had to withdrawl from classes because I was having a lot of problems, including migraines every day.
A couple of years ago, I started taking a medicine that helped with the migraines, and I decided to finish my degree online. One day, my grandmother asked me to check the internet for Martha's new program time, and I got distracted by the craft section on marthastewart.com. I found a lot of cute projects, and I thought it would be fun to do some crafting while trying to find financial aide for school. I enjoyed it so much, and then I found out there was no way I could afford to go back to school; by then I didn't mind because I was very happy spending my time crafting every day, and I would have missed it.
The one drawback to crafting is that my wallet is almost always empty! There are so many wonderful goodies to play with, from tools and embellishments to beautiful designer papers. I think the one tool I use the most would have to be my paper trimmer, and the papers from K&Company and DCWV are my favorites! There is just no way to pick a favorite embellishment, but I love to add some bling to my projects.
Thanks so much BreAnn for being our guest DT this week.
