NAME THE MERMAID CONTEST

Hi everyone! I have created a new mermaid but I need your help with her name! She needs a beautiful mermaid name and I would love to hear your name suggestions. From now until Wednesday evening at 7PM PST we are having a "Name the Mermaid" contest and the winner will recieve my new mermaid image! Cant wait to hear your suggestions! Have fun!

    I like Daphne. It probably doesn't have anything to do with the waters, but it is a flower and she is covered in flowers. Plus I like the name.

    Aislinn -- another Celtic name like I like meaning "dream or vision" --just like a mermaid
    Muirin -- means "born of the sea"

    I was also looking at a photo flower dictionary and saw these or parts of these that I liked -- flowers as part of name they were in parenthesis

    How about Balaena Karis...
    Balaean is whale like "pronounced 'Ba-Leena KARE-ess'" the meaning of Karis is "grace". She can be found in the tropical coral reefs. Is fond of beautiful warm environments and is curious, lively and fond of play...

    I think you should name her Carlinda. It's not related to the sea but I think it rolls off your tongue beautifully and musically and that's what I think it of when I think of mermaids.
